Ms. Tamsin has taken leave from teaching, and a new long term substitute, Ms. O’Connor, is taking over her classes. Before coming here, Ms. O’Connor worked at Wilton Public Schools in a couple of different special education programs. Earlier this year she held a long term substituting position for a sixth grade English class in Wilton. Ms. O’Connor will be teaching here for the rest of the year. . .

Mr. Heiss is a physics student teacher, whose cooperating teacher is Mr. Iaiennaro. He was an intern at PHS all of last year, although, he explained to me, one does not need to be an intern before becoming a student teacher. . .

This year, Pomperaug High School didn't just welcome in the Class of 2015, but we were also introduced to four new teachers! The Phoenix interviewed the four newest additions to our academic team about their first impressions of the school and their interests.
