Since Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, it is only fit to have quotes about love. Or teenage love, because as teenagers, we love to love.

“Love at first sight is possible, but it pays to take a second look.”

As teens we all get an instantaneous crush on the kid across the room because they’re cute, hot, beautiful, angelic, whatever. But before you go get all serious, stop for a second and think about that person’s personality, how they carry themselves, or something else other than their appearance. That second look just might alter your attraction; you make you think twice about your decision.

“When I saw you I was afraid to meet you. When I met you I was afraid to kiss you. When I kissed you I was afraid to love you. Now that I love you, I am afraid to lose you.”

I do believe this is how most first true loves have grown. During every step of the way, there have definitely been some butterflies having a party in your tummy.

Do I even need to explain this? It fits what goes on in our halls each and every day!

“A drop in the ocean. A change in the weather; I was praying that you and me might end up together.”

What would Valentine’s day be without a little poetry? This is cute for puppy love. No matter what the world may throw your way, you plan to still be together, forever.

But for those of you out there who do not have a valentine, do not feel ashamed or left out. Ponder these words for just a moment…
