“It’s a good day to have a good day.”

So many people take bad days too seriously. They didn’t get that promotion at work, or failed a test, or their love life is about to turn into shambles. All those situations suck, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t having a good day. Your lungs are helping you breathe, your heart is beating, your two legs are getting you to the places you want to go, and you woke up today. So really, there is really no excuse not to have a good day, every day.

“Some people feel the rain. Others just get wet.”

Humans are routine hounds. We all need some kind of order in our lives to have it run smoothly. But some people just go through the motions. Those are the ones who get wet, the robots of our society. Then there are those who live for each moment, savoring the precious minutes that tick by each day. Those are the ones who feel. You only live once. Better live for the day.

“Next time you think of beautiful things, don’t forget to count yourself in.”

Not enough people in our society think they are beautiful. And with all of the Barbies strutting down the runways and taking up space in magazines, it’s hard to look in the mirror and not compare yourself to them at times. But everyone is beautiful in his or her own little way. So go find yours, and start counting yourself in the category of beautiful things.
